Good service
is something we should expect. However a business which takes responsibility
for getting to the bottom to a problem when others put it in the too hard
basket is worth celebrating. As Michelle van Kampen explains, an ongoing
problem with a car transmission has highlighted inspirational customer service
from family business Ron Wood Auto Electrical. "Ron Wood Auto Electrical Ltd have been wonderful. Ron, Leanne and Nick Wood have taken responsibility for getting to the bottom of the problem I'm experiencing. The part they had repaired did not fix the problem - so they are refusing to let me pay for it - "until we know we've fixed the problem". I'm heading overseas for 5 months and they've offered to look at my car while I'm away, trying to get to the root of the problem. If it ends up being the transmission (rather than an electrical fault), they've said they'll take it back to the transmission store and make sure it's fixed. Once they've fixed the car, they've offered to drop the car off to my father (who will be looking after my car while I'm away) so as to make it as hassle free as possible for my dad. And as for payment for what they've already done and will be doing (keeping in mind I'm going to be out of the country for some months) - 'we can sort that out later". I'm absolutely blown away at their service and have been telling everyone I know "If you ever need an auto electrician..."I certainly think they deserve an Awesome Service Award because the service I have received has been incredible."
