Health emergencies don't always keep office hours. So inspirational customer service is often most appreciated when a health professional offers much needed care to a person in need. Shamila Lal nominated dentist Nilesh Govind for an Awesome Service Award because of his kind treatment of her uncle. "One evening my uncle had a severe toothache which led to an acute headache. We tried to ring all the dentists that provide after hours and emergency service, including those in hospitals all over Auckland but none of them would answer the phone call. At last I thought to ring Nilesh Govind at Quality Care Dental in Mt Roskill, who I had recently had dental treatment from and he agreed to see my uncle. My uncle returned home at 11.30pm, a much happier man. He had the tooth out and only paid one fifth of the cost he had expected to in this emergency situation. He was so thankful for Nilesh's help that he cried mentioning it to me. Nilesh definitely deserves this award.  He is a true citizen and a very good asset to our community.
