Computer owner Bob Knox explains:
"It gives me much pleasure to nominate Garth Gleeson of Adept Computer Services.
Our desktop computer at home is in constant use for work, research and fun.
Recently it "died" - wouldn't even load up. I rang Garth and although I have never dealt with him before he was at our home within an hour or so to pick up our PC, even though it was Saturday morning.
Later that day he rang back to tell us the bad news - the motherboard and chip were "fried" from heat build up and poor ventilation.
We discussed our needs and options and over the next few days he was in regular contact checking with us over various options and costs.
Exactly a week later - Saturday morning - was back with our rebuilt and vastly improved computer. The only original parts from the old "box" were the hard-drives with their invaluable data.
He spent a further 30 minutes connecting the computer to all our peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, scanner, speakers, modem, colour printer and laser printer) at our home and checking that everything was working okay.
With our permission, he had also installed an anti-spyware program. All this for three hours labour ! (Plus the costs of the new bits of course).
At all times he was professional and genuinely interested in our computer needs, willing and able to provide advice and options.
We will certainly be recommending him to any of our friends who need competent computer service.
