Customer Kim Barker was listening to Newstalk ZB online in Manila when she heard Danny Watson announce an Awesome Service Award winner. It motivated her to nominate this week's Awesome Service Award winner, Laser Electrical, Remuera.
Here's Kim's story:
"Vear [now Laser] Electrical have helped us over seven years to completely rewire and fix our very old house in Epsom. No job has ever been too small or too hard. Without complaint they have crawled under and over our once very horrible house fixing our many problems. Sometimes they have dropped everything to come and spend a cold horrible day in the confines of our impossible crawl spaces. They once arrived very late in the day and, with smiley faces, made sure our new oven in the kitchen was wired so we could cook dinner. They knew we had been without a kitchen for 10 weeks! The office staff are always accommodating and efficient, while electricians have often worked alone on site keeping our house secure as they work, locking up and leaving the place clean and operational. They use imitative and solve problems logically. When some wiring was a two part job while jib stopping happened they left wires safe, mindful of our young children. We are in Manila for three years and they have committed to undertake any work in our absence and are happy for us to pay them on line upon completion. They have never caused me any concern, stress or delays. We have been fixing houses all our married life and these are the best people I have ever dealt with. I trust them to get it done, on time and within budget. They never moan, and take pride in the fact that they know every wire, power point and creepy crawly place in our house. Well done the people at Vear [now Laser] Electrical Remuera."
