Lisa Young nominated Martin van der Most for the help he gave her daughter.

It serves an example of how relatively small acts of great customer service, can make a huge difference.

Lisa Young explains:

"My daughter arrived home from England with a severe migraine headache - aggravated by a scratch on one lense of her glasses.

Mr van der Most spent almost an hour trying to fit her with interim contact lenses but her arthritic condition made this impossible so she had to wear sunglasses in the meantime.

At 7.30 that night Mr van der Most visited us at home to deliver the repaired glasses!

The shop probably closed at 5.00 pm but he worked on.

Above and well beyond the call of duty - and very much appreciated."
