Whangarei florist Pam Saroz was nominated for an MYOB Awesome Service Award for the extra trouble she went to for customer, Clare Hemmins. And as Clare explains, it made all the difference at a difficult time: "I had phone-ordered a wreath for a frend's home after she died, and on the card I had Pam write it was from my husband and me. She had got on to it quickly. When I phoined again to see if she could add another name the wreath had already left the shop and was on the way in delivery courier van. Rather than say nothing could be done, Pam hunted up the courier's cell number and tried repeatedly to contact the driver. I was surprised when she phoned some time later, saying she had got the driver as he/she was delivering the wreath - and the extra name had been added.
